Hawaii Poetry Slam
Friday, July 6th, 2007Competitve poetry. Sounds odd? It’s actually great. The “competition” part is fairly light-hearted and almost tounge-in-cheek. Judges are selected semi-randomly from the audience. “Judges” are given numbers to hold up as scores for the poets. In theory the scores range from o.o to 10.o, but last night a number of poets got 10.9s.
